الدكتور إسلام إبراهيم عبدالباري

أستاذ الاقتصاد المساعد بالأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري. يشغل حاليًا منصب رئيس الأقسام الأكاديمية ووكيل الدراسات العليا والبحث العلمي بكلية النقل الدولي واللوجستيات، إلى جانب عمله كمستشار اقتصادي في عدد من المنظمات و اللجان الدولية مثل الاسكوا ومنظمه الصحة العالمية والبنك الدولي

 

الدكتور إسلام ابراهيم عبد الباري هو أستاذ الاقتصاد المساعد بالأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري. يشغل حاليًا منصب رئيس الأقسام الأكاديمية ووكيل الدراسات العليا والبحث العلمي بكلية النقل الدولي واللوجستيات، إلى جانب عمله كمستشار اقتصادي في عدد من المنظمات واللجان الدولية مثل الاسكوا ومنظمه الصحة العالمية والبنك الدولي.

يستند سجله المهني الحافل بالنجاح إلى خلفية تعليمية قوية، إذ حصل على درجة الدكتوراه من جامعة Plymouth  في المملكة المتحدة، وأتمّ أبحاثه لما بعد الدكتوراه بجامعة Michigan  في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. كما يحمل عدة دبلومات أكاديمية متقدمة في مناهج البحث والاقتصاد القياسي من جامعة Johns Hopkins  في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ، وجامعة Pompeu Fabra في اسبانيا، وجامعة Cambridge وUniversity College London  في انجلترا، والجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة.

تركز أبحاث د. عبد الباري على الإصلاح الاقتصادي والحوكمة واقتصاديات النقل، والاستدامة، والتنمية الاقتصادية في الدول النامية ومناهج البحث العلمي. ويهتم بالبحث العلمي بشكل يتجاوز أعماله الخاصة، حيث يشارك كباحث مستقل في مشروعات متنوعة مع مؤسسات وطنية ودولية. وهو شغوف بتعليم فلسفه ومناهج البحث ويولى اهتمامًا كبيرًا بنقل خبرته في إلى طلاب الدراسات العليا في مصر والوطن العربي إضافةً إلى عدد من الجامعات الأمريكية والأوروبية، من خلال الاشراف العلمي على الرسائل الاكاديمية او من خلال تقديم العديد من ورش العمل والدورات التدريبية والندوات في مجالات البحث الكمي والنوعي والتجريبي.

  • 2019:  جائزة ابن خلدون في الاقتصاد من جمعية اقتصاديين الشرق الأوسطMEEA  خلال الاجتماع السنوي للجمعية الامريكية للاقتصاد في ولاية جورجيا.
  • 2019: متحدث رئيسي Keynote Speaker في محاضرة عامة بجامعة University Paris Nanterre، بعنوان : Reviving Arab Reform: Development Challenges and Opportunities اريس، فرنسا.
  • 2018: جائزة أفضل ورقة بحثية مُقدَّمة في المؤتمر السنوي الثالث عشر بكلية الأعمال – جامعة Plymouth  (UPFoBDC)، المنعقد في 25-26 يونيو 2018، من جمعية الدراسات العليا بجامعة Plymouth  .
  • 2017: جائزة ثاني أفضل عرض تقديمي  في مسابقة 3MT من جمعية الدراسات العليا بجامعة Plymouth  ، تحت عنوان " Institutions, Development and Prosperity: Cases and Lessons learned ".
  • 2014: منحه مقدمه من مؤسسه فورد لدراسة دبلومه Social Science Research Methods for Guiding Policy and Evaluation بالجامعه الامريكية بالقاهرة.
  • 2013 : منحه دراسه دبلومه مناهج البحث مقدمه من The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions وجامعة Pompeu Fabra في اسبانيا
  • 2010: منحه مقدمه من مؤسسه Bloomberg لدراسة دبلومه Economics of public health في جامعه Johns Hopkins  بالولايات المتحدده الامريكية
  • 2008 : جائزة المركز الأول  للأبحاث الاقتصادية، وزارة الاستثمار ، بعنوان The Effect of the Foreign Direct Investment on Egyptian Development”.
  • 2005: جائزة ثانى افضل بحث علمى في المؤتمر السنوي التاسع للمجلس العربي لتدريب طلاب الجامعات العربية بعنوان : دور مؤسسات المجتمع المدنى والجمعيات الاهلية في تحسين الوعى لدى الشباب العربى: دراسة كميه
